| Nosacka Hired as Chief Financial Officer |

 |  | | | David Nosacka, MHA | | | Linda Ollis, Chief Executive Officer of Creighton University Medical Center, today announced the appointment of David Nosacka, MHA, as Chief Financial Officer.
Nosacka has more than ten years of financial experience in the health care industry, including executive positions at both teaching and for-profit hospitals. He comes to Creighton University Medical Center from Barberton Citizens Hospital in Barberton, Ohio, an affiliate of Triad Hospitals, where he had served as Vice President/Chief Financial Officer since 2004.
“We are pleased to have someone of David’s caliber join the Creighton University Medical Center team,” said Ollis. “David’s considerable financial management experience — particularly at a major teaching hospital — will be a great advantage to us as we look towards building our future.”
Nosacka earned a bachelors degree in general business from the University of New Orleans and a masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Tulane University Medical School. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
As Chief Financial Officer, Nosacka’s role will include reviewing, evaluating and ensuring the effectiveness of all financial and accounting systems. He will also direct the development and implementation of financial systems, policies and procedures. Additionally, Nosacka will assist in the coordination of major strategic and financial plans, including capital expenditure programs.
