Endovascular surgery – operating from inside the blood vessel – is performed through tiny holes, rather than through large external incisions. When done so, procedures can often result in smaller scars, less pain and faster recovery times than traditional open methods. Many common vascular procedures, such as balloon angioplasties and vascular stenting, can be performed using minimally invasive endovascular methods.
We take a multidisciplinary approach that brings all our physician specialists, nurses and technologists together in one place to deliver care. This means you shouldn’t have to make multiple trips to multiple appointments on multiple days. And because we’re part of Creighton University Medical Center, one of the region’s premier teaching and research hospitals, we may be able to offer access to clinical trials and innovative therapies that may not be available at some other hospitals.
