Dear patients, family & friends,
During our 130 year history of bringing quality medical care to our friends and neighbors in Omaha, Council Bluffs and surrounding Nebraska and Iowa communities, Creighton University Medical Center has undergone many changes. We have grown from our original humble two-story frame building with 28 beds, established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1870, to our current modern full-service facility, licensed for 334 beds with a compliment of eleven primary care and three urgent care centers.
We will continue our dedication and commitment to quality in caring, teaching, leading and healing mind, body and spirit. It is then, with confidence and pride in our tradition, that we feel we are prepared to move with you into the next millennium. We are proud of our heritage and service and invite you to actively use our online information to familiarize yourself with our services, facilities and our people.
Sincerely,
Linda Ollis, CEO
