As a partner in the Creighton Saint Joseph Regional Healthcare System, we at Saint Joseph Hospital provide quality health care for the entire individual while focusing on new frontiers of medicine and technology. Our dedicated and devoted medical personnel offer a wide range of services, backed by current research, at Creighton Family Healthcare sites throughout eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

Saint Joseph Hospital as the primary teaching hospital and partner to Creighton University, attracts and educates some of the brightest minds in the country. Some of our physicians are among the nation's leaders, sometimes pioneers, in the latest innovations in technology and treatment to meet the health care needs of our community. Our hospital family includes over 1300 employees, physicians and volunteers.

Our Catholic Identity is reflected in our commitment to applying Catholic moral reasoning to our daily efforts. We are also home to a Pastoral Staff of 11. We are proud to have started one of the first Ethics Center in the country, which is now the Center for Health Policy and Ethics on the Creighton campus. We have our own Ethics Committee working closely with patients, families, physicians and other medical personnel to assist families in the often difficult decisions regarding treatment and advanced directives for patient care.
