Ingredients
- 1 angel food cake mix (one step kind)
- 1 can of either lemon pie filling
OR 20 oz. crushed pineapple in its own juice
OR 1 20 oz. can cherry pie filling
(whichever flavor you desire will be the flavor of the bars)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Place dry cake mix in a large bowl and mix according to instructions on mix. Fold in pie filling (or pineapple) and vanilla until well blended. Pour into an ungreased 9 X 13 inch cake pan and bake for 30 minutes (or use a jelly roll pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.) Cool and cut into bars.
