Ergonomics is the science of fitting jobs to people. Our trained therapists address what kind of work you perform as related to the whole job environment. Our aim is to find the best fit between you and your job area/conditions. No matter what the job is, our goal is to make sure that you are safe, comfortable, and less prone to work-related injuries.
Our goal is to provide education and resources to:

Assist employees in returning to work after an injury has occurred.
Specific Services Provided:

Identification of injury risk factors.

Analysis of essential job functions and job descriptions.

Modification of workstation and equipment use.

Provide education and training on injury prevention, workplace health, and safety regulations.

Make recommendations on administrative and engineering controls to decrease injury and accident risk factors.

Consultation regarding reasonable accommodation and worksite accessibility according to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

A therapist specialized in ergonomics can come to your workplace to assess/observe your work functions as they occur in their natural environment. The therapist may then make suggestions to modify the workstation, alter work organization, or conduct training and education to reduce exposure to risk factors.
