Creighton University Medical Center now offers a minimally invasive alternative to the traditional hysterectomy. The da Vinci hysterectomy is performed by an OB/GYN using a state-of-the-art da Vinci “robot,” which allows him or her to perform delicate surgical procedures through tiny ports in the abdomen instead of through a large incision.
