These “quick fix” options are used to reduce the subtle signs of early aging, and can be extremely effective in realizing small, yet dramatic, changes in appearance.

Botox®

The natural, purified protein botulinum toxin (Botox®) is an injectable treatment for wrinkles, frowns and muscle hyperactivity. It works by temporarily paralyzing the muscles and blocking the nerve impulses. Areas most commonly treated are in the upper face (brow, forehead and around the eyes). Sometimes it is also used in the lips, cheeks and neck. Muscle function usually returns in three to five months. Repeated injection usually requires less Botox® for full effect.

Fillers

Injectable fillers can provide volume and reduce the appearance of stubborn wrinkles. These fillers are temporary—their longevity depends on the type of filler, the volume injected, and the location. Filler types include hyaluronic acid (Restylane), collagen (Evolence), and autologous fat.

Sculptra™

Used for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss.

Dermabrasion

Smoothes acne-scarred skin and fine facial wrinkles, such as those around the mouth. After several weeks, you can gradually begin to resume your normal activities.

Chemical Peel

Chemical peel with exfoliation improves blemishes, wrinkles and inconsistent skin color by removing the outer layers of the damaged facial skin.
